Multi-skill pool sessions with qualified Seapoint Canoe Centre instructors. Sessions will include a range of craft, including kayaks with spraydecks. We’ll be focusing on rescue skills including capsizing. Learn skills and gain confidence.
Cost: £25 per person
Minimum Age 14+ (paddlers under 16 require a parent or guardian to be pool side throughout the session)
POOL TRAINING SESSION
Aim...to develop your rescue skills and confidence.
Location.: Folkestone Sports Centre
Working as a group....staying together, coping with conditions, dealing with mishaps, self rescue, rescue others in the group, towing.
Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of the session.
Suitable for paddlers aged 14 and over who have some paddling expertise. Under 16s will need a parent or guardian poolside for the whole session.
Kit: we supply kayak and paddle, please indicate on the booking form if you are right or left handed so we know which paddle to bring.
Kit you need to bring: swimwear, t-shirt, nose-clips, you could also bring clean canoe shoes if you wish
