Aimed at kayakers aged 18+ that want to improve their technical paddle strokes & rescue skills with focused, bespoke coaching. If you have done the Discover Award, or hold BCU 1* or 2*, this is the ideal opportunity to improve your paddle skills, learn new strokes and refine your current repertoire. The day may focus on themes such as; ruddering, support strokes, braces, draws and combination strokes. A rescue session will focus on; kayak to kayak eskimo rescues, peer deep water rescue and kayak re-entry. A training opportunity that can be attended time and again improving your skill set each and every time!
Not suitable for beginners.

This is 1 day course for intermediates
Paddlecraft: Kayaks (we supply the craft or you can bring your own)
The course takes place on The Royal Military Canal located between Hythe and Seabrook.
Minimum of 4 participants for the course to run, maximum 8 participants.
Arrive 15 minutes before the session time to get kitted out (we provide all the equipment)
Paddlers will need to bring your own lunch and drinks

Note: Our Centre is located on Prince’s Parade, and is in view of the seafront. If driving from Folkestone, turn left onto Prince’s Parade and Seapoint will be the second turning on your right, the car park is signposted. There is pay and display parking in the carpark adjacent to the centre, metred parking is also available on Prince’s Parade (free of charge over the Winter months, subject to change).
