Seapoint Canoe Centre is organising 5 river trips this winter between 24 October 2020 - 20 February 2021 this is for those looking to improve their kayak skills on moving water.
09:00 Meet at Seapoint
15:00 Finish at Seapoint (depending on the river we head to, which is determined by the weather on the day)
Please note: This trip replaces the usual Saturday morning session on the Royal Military Canal. Previous Seapoint paddlers only, minimum age 14 as it is a moving water trip. No novices or first timers.
Own wet suits are required (please supply your own). Please bring your own packed lunch and water.
A chance to head out and test your skills on moving water. We meet at 9am sharp. Load kayaks onto cars and drive to river (location tbc). We plan to return to Seapoint at approximately 3 pm.
This kayak trip is on moving water. The venues chosen will depend on the weather conditions on the day.
Timings will depend on the distance of the venue paddled.
Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of the session to assist with loading cars.
The trips are strictly for those aged 14 and over who have some paddling expertise and known to the coaches at Seapoint.
This trip is NOT for beginners.
All paddlers must wear wetsuits or similar wet / cold weather gear.
Please bring a packed lunch.
