We run group canoe and kayak sessions. Our sessions take place between April to October for junior paddlers aged 8-13. During the colder Winter months between November - March the minimum age is 13 years old.

This is an improver session, not suitable for beginners. Sessions are ideal for paddlers who have already received at least 3 weeks of formal instruction.

Primarily the sessions take place in kayaks and are designed to help you achieve your Start and Discover Paddlesport British Canoeing awards.

• Sessions take place on The Royal Military Canal located between Hythe and Seabrook.

• Social distancing will be observed at all times.

• The session requires minimum 4 paddlers

• Arrive 15 minutes before the session start time to get kitted out (we provide the kayak, a cagoule, life-vest and helmet)

Note: Our Centre is located on Prince’s Parade, and is in view of the seafront. If driving from Folkestone, turn left onto Prince’s Parade and Seapoint will be the second turning on your right, the car park is signposted. There is pay and display parking in the carpark adjacent to the centre, metred parking is also available on Prince’s Parade.
