We run group canoe and kayak sessions, for all ages every Saturday morning 10-12. From April to October the minimum age is 8 years old, for the colder Winter months between November - March the minimum age is 13 years old.

Sessions are ideal for both beginners and the experienced.

Primarily the sessions take place in kayaks and are designed to help you achieve your awards with British Canoeing. If you are under-18, we help you achieve the equivalent awards.

• Sessions take place on The Royal Military Canal located between Hythe and Seabrook.

• We split up into groups determined by age and ability, depending on the group size and number of instructors. There is often an emphasis on games for the youngest learners and technical skill for those that are serious about paddle-sport.

• Arrive by 9:45 to get kitted out (we provide all the equipment) and then we’ll try to get out on the water as close to 10am as we can.

• Make sure you book on by Thursday so we know to expect you! Places are limited subject to coach:paddler ratios. We provide one coach for every 8 paddlers.

Note: Our Centre is located on Prince’s Parade, and is in view of the seafront. If driving from Folkestone, turn left onto Prince’s Parade and Seapoint will be the second turning on your right, the car park is signposted. There is pay and display parking in the carpark adjacent to the centre, metred parking is also available on Prince’s Parade (free of charge over the Winter months, subject to change).
